A good book, pleased with my purchase

Overall I feel like this is a good book, it has relevant information on the Blackberry Pearl. I have always enjoyed the style of writing that is found in the "Dummies" series that I have purchased. It covers the basics very well, it's easy to read and fairly well organized. There is one drawback to it and that is in some of the topics, it lacks detail. Some who are "Techno Savvy", might not need the extra detail, but those of us who aren't so savvy, the more detail the better. Overall, I feel like it was worth the money.

It has been extremely helpful. Through this book, I've become very adept at using my Blackberry Pearl, so much so that my daughter, wife, sons, and parents make fun of my Blackberry habit. :-)

Although this book started out very simple, it did get into some decent detail, tips and tricks for my new Pearl. Each of the features gave a nice introduction and then went into details that I found very helpful and am still working to learn all the shortcuts it lists. I am mostly satisfied with it. I only wish it would have gone deeper still into some aspects of the pearl that I see but don't understand such as the meaning of the different icons next to emails sent. Most are easily understood but some are not and I'd love to understand all of them.
I am glad that I purchased it and recommend it.

This book is so valuable for Dummies like me, who are simply not as "Smart Phone Intuitive" as some other people! I read parts chapter by chapter, and I read other snippets just for the little info that I needed right at the moment. Easy to find the part that you need that addresses your immediate question.
There are still many many features of the Pearl that I just havent checked out, figured out, or even discovered, but this is a cool book to pick up on occassion and find out just one NEW THING ABOUT MY PEARL!
If you get confused with the Pearl, you need this book.
