This is a really incredible book filled with amazing stories of how your emoational life affects your health and your heart. It changed me. It should be required reading for doctors.

I bought two copies. One to read and then share and one to send to my son who can be healthy yet. She is positive and gives hope to the reader and to her patients. We can make differences in our ways of eating, stress reduction, exercise, medical choices.

I think this book should be required of every medical professional as well as heart patients and others who are not being heard when they speak. The author is a person who has made her patients her family.

This book provides validation of what I have believed for many years about stress and its relationship to disease. Also how meditation and mindfullness can help in healing.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Dr. Mimi Guarneri's "The Heart Speaks." It draws the reader into the intimate moments of life and death while detailing patients' histories at the same time. And, it takes the reader from the scientific approach of medicine to the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspect of healing. I highly recommend this book.
