This book has been very helpful when dealing with certain situations in my life. I really like the way the book is set up and it also provides guidance by Charles Stanley.

Best Book for a Fulfilling Devotion

I first saw tis book in the nads of one of my friends while both of us were shopping at a popular book store. I paged through it and imeeditately knew that it was the book for me. I went to the counter to find out that there were no more and that it would have to be ordered. So I ordered it from Amazon and got a hard cover version. Mr. Stanley offers commentary, pracitcal examples and an in depth examination of each topic. By the end of it, you have gained a thorough understanding of the entire topic. The book's approach to explaining how a Christian can practice christianity everyday is disarming--nothingsuper spiritual. It does not make you feel like you need to be a super hero everyday in order to enrich your relationship with Christ and with yourself and others. I hightly recommend this book. Morover, Amazon delivered way in advance of the dated of the ex[ected delivery.

I felt the writer could of used more scripture though in some of his topics. Not that I disagreed with all his assumptions, but I could see how a person with a differing opinion would want more scripture. I feel some of the topics he wrote on just required more... I guess the book was probably written as a general overview and not an exaustive work on each subject so it served its purpose.Overall this was a decent book.

This is an Excellent Book however what I did not realize it was re-titled from a previous printing titled "The Glorious Journey" and I already had it so this book went in our church library.
